Woodchurch Vineyard

Planted in 2009, Woodchurch Estate is a small and unique vineyard where we will meet the producer to understand all the hard work that goes into starting a vineyard. Woodchurch specialises in sparkling wine where they have 9 acres of vineyard that produce a classic cuvée, a sparkling rosé, and a delicious blanc de blancs. They have also just released a still chardonnay. You will have a guided wine tasting with the producer and time for purchases.

Chapel Down

Traveling out of London and across the chalk soil of the Kent North Downs we will make our way through beautiful English countryside and arrive at Chapel Down Winery. Chapel Down is nestled in the 15th century shipbuilding port known as the hamlet of Small Hythe were we will explore the vineyard and learn about English viticulture. You'll enjoy a fully guided tour of the vineyard and winery and learn all about the traditional sparkling winemaking process. Then we head to their tasting room for a guided tasting of their range of English sparkling and still wines. There will be plenty of time to wonder around and browse the wine shop after the tasting.

Enjoy a delicious lunch made with local produce and love in this charming traditional English Pub in the village of Benenden. Recorded in the Doomsday Book in 1086 Benenden is steeped in industrial history for both iron-making and cloth-making since the 14th century. The Bull Inn is a traditional old English pub where you can choose from a selection of light lunches all served with a glass of English Wine.

Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard

Visit and taste some beautiful organic and bio-dynamic wine from Sedlescombe Organic vineyard. Planted in 1978 and boasts a brand new tasting facility. Excellent venue.

Fantastic day out exploring the English vines!

Wonderful and extremely informative tour! We were lucked up at London Bridge, very comfortable minibus ride down to Kent, and visited 3 wineries. Our host Justin was very knowledgeable about English wines and we learnt a lot. Picnic lunch was fresh and tasty, with dietary requirements catered to with ease.
Wines were high quality and interesting, and we even got to meet one of the wine makers himself!

We booked this wine tour Just before the pandemic so unfortunately we were unable to go until this September 21 but throughout this time Nicola kept in touch with us and as soon as the wine tours were back operating Nicola offered us this first date back. From start to finish the day was wonderfully organised, the coach was perfectly on time, new modern and impeccably clean and it was easy to find the pick up location near London Bridge. We all had a lovely hessian bag each with water and crisps to keep. We visited three vine yards and had a perfect picnic at our second which was just delicious. All the wines offered for tasting were delicious and driving through the Kent countryside was perfect - it’s true what they say Kent really is the garden of England. Martin our tour guide was funny, knew virtually everything about English wines and was a super host with great stories about the locations vine yards and grapes. We had a super day and fantastic value for the price - go! You won’t regret it!

The wine tour was absolutely perfect! Justin was so knowledgeable and friendly, and took us to some lovely vineyards with great wine - and cheese! At no point did we feel rushed, Justin let us enjoy it as much as we wanted for as long as we wanted, and honestly couldn't fault the trip one bit! Thank you so much, we had such a good time!

We really enjoyed this day out and would highly recommend! It was a fun trip, where we visited three vinerys and sampled 13 wines - very good value for money! It was bad weather on the day but the staff made all necessary arrangements to make us feel comfortable, everyone was friendly and highly knowledgeable. There were some very tasty wines and a lunch which was healthy and complimented the wines. We would definitely do this trip or a similar trip from the same company again!

Fantastic selection of wines to taste. Justin was a great guide, very helpful and knowledgeable. Lunch was delicious really scrummy quiche! Well done for getting the tours back up and running!
