What To Expect

Just a 2 hour drive from London lies the beautiful village of Blockley in the heart of the Cotswolds.

The Church of St Peter and St Paul is the setting for Father Browns Church in the series. The village and surrounding areas are also used as Kembleford Village in the much loved series staring Mark Williams.

Your personal guide is a big fan of the show and will show you around the village that will make you feel that at any moment Father Brown will appear around the corner on his bicycle.

Moreton in Marsh
This pretty little village also doubles up as parts of Kembleford in the show. Here we will see The former Moreton-in-Marsh hospital that has been used for the interiors of Father Brown’s kitchen, study and presbytery, as well as Kembleford’s police station.

The Bakers Arms
Know as Father Brown's Local Pub. If they have a table available we can stop for a traditional Cotswold Pub Lunch in the Pub used in the show.

For most people a trip to the Cotswold's is not complete until you visit a traditional Pub. What better place than Father Browns local Pub for Fish and Chips?

St Mary The Virgin Church
This is an optional stop for those who are fans of the Vicar of Dibley. On our route back to London we can take a slight diversion and visit the village of Turville.

This Village becomes 'Dibley' in the hit TV show starring Dawn French as Geraldine Granger. The local Church of St Mary's becomes St Barnabas in the series.

Even if you have not seen 'The Vicar of Dibley' a visit to this beautiful village is well worth it, and it may inspire you to look up the series online. Trust me, it's very funny and enjoyable!
