Overview

My books with National Geographic and Ammonite Press set out teaching a wide variety of photography skills to a range of students - from beginners to intermediate and advanced.

I am an experienced photographer and have also had my images and articles widely published internationally and worked with a number of large global companies such as Toyota USA, Sky Atlantic, Conde Nast Magazine, BBC. I am also a photography brand ambassador for Hoya Global and BenQ.

As a native Londoner I know the city extremely well and will take us to some great shooting locations. I will also be able to answer your questions about specific buildings and areas and give you a wide range of recommendations across the city as well.

Excellent learning experience

Had a great session with Antony where I learned now only HOW to use my camera in a much broader spectrum than "auto-everything" provides but WHY balancing ISO, shutter speed and aperture gives you the results you're looking for. Antony is a wonderful, thorough teacher who is kind and patient and never made me feel ignorant or foolish for the questions I asked. If you want to improve your photography skills, a few hours with Antony will definitely help.

A Brilliant Start to the New Year

I was a little dubious after being booked onto this tour by my sister as a Christmas present. Expecting a Contiki tour style photography group I was delighted to find Anthony waiting for me outside the Tate Modern gallery for a 1-on-1 lesson.

Unbelievably I didn't shoot one frame on this tour, but still learnt so much!

After visiting St. Pauls we meandered around the streets north of the Thames with Antony pointing out some great spots to shoot and achieve an original image, not just another Instagram shot! He also taught me techniques for removing crowds from scenes such as shooting a long exposure with an ND filter.

As well as being a wealth of knowledge and answering all my probing questions with style and flair Antony struck me as a genuinely, nice guy. A teacher who shows a real interest and inquisitiveness in his students. It's not often you see that.

The tour actually overran it's scheduled end time as we were so engrossed in photography talk.

Thanks again for such a great tour Antony. I'm sure I'll be booking another lesson with you soon :).

What an amazing session this was!! Antony was so friendly and made you feel at ease from the word go. He knew exactly where to go and where the good shots are. He did teaching inbetween shots and was more than happy to help and guide where needed. I would most definitely come and do the tour with him again. He has a wealth of information and the shots you take look absolutely gorgeous!! Thanks so much Antony-I'll definitely come and do the session with you again (hopefully big ben is renovated by that time)
