National Portrait Gallery
The National Portrait Gallery, located in St Martin's Place, of
next to the largest and best known National Gallery, in Tafalgar
Square, houses the originals of Jane's most famous portraits
Austen, starting with the only authentic portrait, painted in pencil and watercolor by his sister Cassandra
around 1810.
We can also make a quick visit to the National Gallery upon request

We will visit Covent Garden, the picturesque market in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of the city.

The British Library is located in St. Pancras in a very modern and functional building.
Here too, admission is free.
Inside, at the bottom on the left, the Sir John opens up
Ritblat Gallery with its Treasures of the British
Library (Treasures of the British Library). Once
upon entering, the first case on the left shows some real jewels
Austenians: among these, the object of admiration of all
us, is Jane Austen's portable desk.
The manuscript of the booklet is also interesting
of the History of England written
by Jane in 1791 (just fifteen) and illustrated by
Cassandra.
The British Library also houses other Austenian manuscripts and objects, not present in the room:
some letters, the music score copied by Jane, a pin box, volumes 2 and 3 by Juvenilia, chaps. 10 and 11 of persuasion, the opinions on Mansfield Park and Emma. And many other jewels.
