Be one of the few who discovers that Leeds Castle is located in Kent's beautiful countryside and is, in fact, within easy reach of London. (Originally known as 'Esledes' and not linked to the City of Leeds, north England!)

Avoid London's heavy traffic and save time and costs. - I will collect you by car at Bromley South station, which is less than 20 minutes’ direct train ride from London Victoria, covered by zone 5 Oystercards or Travelcards.

We will drive through the beautiful countryside of Kent known as the 'Garden of England', just 1 hour before arriving at majestic Leeds Castle.

Tour inside the castle and you'll be amazed by its magnificence. Walk through the stunning grounds to and from the castle, taking you a world away from the rush of any city.

We had such great time during John Englands Tour of Leeds Castle. Not only was the castle beautiful and full of history, but John was a superb knowledgable tour guide. By the end of the day it felt like 3 friends exploring London together talking about politics,history, live , and love. Would 100 percent recommend this company for anyone looking for a fun,professional , down to earth , and informative tour.

Leeds castle in Kent with John England Tours

The setting of the Leeds castle Kent with its moat n landscaped grounds was magnificent. It was full of history.
I went on a private tour with John England’s private tours - he was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable, friendly, polite n personable. His driving was safe n his vehicle was very comfortable.
I highly recommend John England’s private tours as it is very personalised, comfortable and luxurious and you don’t have the hassles of a bus tour of 20 -30 other tourists. John is a fantastic guide n he made my trip a very memorable one!

Leeds Castle

John was a wonderful guide and gave detailed excellent communication on how to arrive and meet up at the train station. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions before and during the tour. He was pleasant the whole tour as well as knowledgeable and making sure our family was seeing what we wanted and at our pace. Leeds castle was beautiful and historically interesting. The hedge maze is a must! We were there during a heat wave and John ensured we were staying hydrated and comfortable. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide and would certainly use him in the future if we are in the area again.

John is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He worked hard to pace the tour and information to our expectations. I cannot say enough about his knowledge base and his ability to gage how deep we wanted to go. We got just the right amount of historical information for our interest level. The day was beautiful and he made sure to show us great photo spots since we were very interested in taking pictures. I will be booking another John England Tour and highly recommend him!
