Led by one of our highly experienced and very friendly driver-guides, they will make your tour a day to remember. Starting from and returning to London, your driver-guide will explain why the Cotswolds are such an important area, and why many people choose to live here; away from the hustle and bustle of the UK's big cities. After leaving Cogges Manor Farm, we will take in the beautiful village of Asthall which was the childhood home of the famous, and infamous, Milford sisters where you will learn about how these sisters became some of the most famous people in 20th century Britain and how they have a link to Hitler and The Dukes of Devonshire.

Asthall is also home to St Nicholas Church, a stunning building that includes a local clock, and some faded, pre-reformation murals.

Bampton
The final stop on the tour is the fantastic filming location that is Bampton village. Bampton is famous for being the filming location for Downton village in all 6 series and the feature film of Downton Abbey. Whilst here I will explain all about filming, give you chance to take photos outside some of the iconic buildings and, if they are feeling friendly, introduce you to some of the local people who adore the TV show almost as much as they love the people who now visit the beautiful village that they call home. You will also be able to explore the stunning 12th Century Church which is at the heart of the village. Whilst here your guide will explain the history of the church, how the church survived the reformation in the 16th Century, and why a crusader knight is buried here.
