Join English Wine Tasting Tours for a day in the English Countryside being chauffeured from vineyard to vineyard by our English Wine Expert Tour Guide.

We will collect you from a main line station (40 minutes from central London), or your accommodation and whisk you away to the beautiful Kent countryside for a day sampling award winning English wines and local artisan produce.

The day will include visiting 3 vineyards for a tasting at the cellar door, light lunch (at a local pub), transport and expert tour guide for the day.

What To Expect

Woodchurch Vineyard

Planted in 2009, Woodchurch Estate is a small and unique vineyard where we will meet the producer to understand all the hard work that goes into starting a vineyard. Woodchurch specialises in sparkling wine where they have 9 acres of vineyard that produce a classic cuvée, a sparkling rosé, and a delicious blanc de blancs. They have also just released a still chardonnay. You will have a guided wine tasting with the producer and time for purchases.

Chapel Down

Next we make our way through the beautiful English countryside and small villages to the second vineyard, Chapel Down Estate. Chapel Down is nestled in the 15th century shipbuilding port known as the hamlet of Small Hythe were we will explore the vineyard and learn about English viticulture. You'll enjoy a guided tasting at the barrels and experience the full range of Chapel Down English sparkling and still wines. There will be plenty of time to wonder around and browse the wine shop after the tasting.

Enjoy a delicious lunch made with local produce and love in this charming traditional English Pub in the village of Benenden. Recorded in the Doomsday Book in 1086 Benenden is steeped in industrial history for both iron-making and cloth-making since the 14th century. The Bull Inn is a traditional old English pub where you can choose from a selection of light lunches all served with a glass of English Wine. Lunch is included in the price for the tour.

Balfour Winery

Enjoy the fabulous views and tranquillity of the Hush Heath Estate known for the historic Hush Heath Manor built in 1503. The manor house was built during the reign of King Henry VIII and consists of over 400 acres of woodland and farm ground where they grow apples and grapes for their cider and wine production. At Hush Heath we taste at the bar their range of award winning English Wines. There will be plenty of time to shop and have a look around to take photos and make purchases.
