Oxford, ‘city of dreaming spires', medieval colleges and magnificant old buildings. We'll explore’s the city’s history, stunning architecture (Bodleian Library, Sheldonian Theatre, Radcliffe Camera and more), and the people made by Oxford and who to helped make its name: Wren, Carroll, Tolkein; Alice and Potter!

We'll also visit Christ Church, one of Oxford’s largest and most accessible colleges. This is a paid attraction, but worth the price of admission. The Great Hall was the inspiration for Hogwarts, and some Harry Potter scenes were filmed here. The 12th century splendour of Oxford’s Christ Church Cathedral is also housed within the walls of the college.

Stellar Private Tour with Graham

What can I say about Graham and the absolute stellar private tour and exceptional service on Christmas Eve?!?! Communication with Graham was easy - he responded immediately and provided solid tips and advice. He was able to accommodate my husband’s last minute knee injury with care and concern. Also, the man worked a MIRACLE and was able to find us transportation from Bath back to London on Boxing Day! Now for the tour… Graham designed a full day of touring specifically for our family based upon our interests and needs. We started in London with timely pick up in his comfortable, clean car. Then we were off to Oxford where he gave us a lovely walking tour full of history and architecture. Graham is very knowledgeable and shares the information interestingly and with ease. Then off to the beautiful Cotswolds- Burford, Bibury, and Tetbury. So picturesque! Graham took our family photo in front of Arlington Row and we had a tasty pub lunch at the Golden Pheasent. In Tetbury, we went into St Mary’s church where they were lighting the candle chandeliers for the Christmas Eve program. Our final stop was our hotel in Bath where we were safely delivered with too much luggage… Graham was friendly, polite and so knowledgeable - the entire family thoroughly enjoyed the day despite Covid and a touch of rain! I would definitely tour with Graham again - worth every pound!
