Overview

This private walking tour will transport you back to the dark and chilling world of the Whitechapel Murders in East London. Follow in the footsteps of the notorious and never identified Jack the Ripper.

During the autumn of 1888, Jack the Ripper murdered, at least, five women with several other horrendous killings before and afterwards that may or may not have been carried out at the hands of the man voted The Worst Briton of All Time.

Explore the old streets of Whitechapel on this private 2.5 hour day-time tour (so you can actually see everything properly) and learn what life was like for the people who lived here.

We've had everyone from school-children to corporate bankers on this tour as well those who just want to see a different side of London. With the seal of approval of homicide detectives from New York, London, Melbourne and many other places and even enjoyed by some of the team behind the BBC show 'Ripper Street'.

Stephen was superb as a tour guide, friendly, funny and so knowledgeable, we had a private tour and he was so flexible with our requirements, adapting the start place and times to work around our needs. I would highly recommend.
Amazing tour!

What a fantastic tour, highly recommend!, our tour guide was Stephen who was so knowledgeable my husband and i were hanging on to every word he was saying and to visit the sites that Jack the Ripper had actually been to was mind blowing!. The great thing with Stephen is he is the "Oracle" of London so while we were walking round he was also pointing out other historic places, an example being he showed us where the great fire of London started, Pudding Lane, which without him we would never of seen. Nothing is too much trouble so if you need to stop of for a coffee/tea Stephen is more that happy to have a break and answer any questions you may have (ask him where you can buy the best hot chocolate!).
As my husband and i not very familiar with London, what was really nice is that Stephen picked us up from our hotel as i have mentioned nothing is a problem, Stephen clearly loves his job as his knowledge and professionalism is apparent.
We met as clients but left as friends.

P.S Stephen is also an author and has written a few books on the subject so make sure you ask him about them as they are great reads.
