Overview

The people of Covent Garden love theatre so much that they've rioted over it. The area is packed with dramatic stories about prima ballerinas, arsonists, Victorian barrow boys, and even a young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! I'll show you a secret alleyway that hasn't changed since the 1800s, and we'll even visit a plague burial ground. Hold your nose!

This tour is wheelchair-accessible.

London with Jenny!

My wife and I had the pleasure of hiring Jenny for two full days of private touring. A fantastic experience for these first time visitors. I had provided Jenny with some sites that we wanted to see and she accommodated all of then and more. Jenny is extremely knowledgeable around the city and history. She was very engaging and personable towards us. Jenny was able to pace our touring better than I could have done if left on my own. She truly enjoys what she does and is a real pro!

Some of the highlights included:

Our first morning was her Gruesome Tour at my request. A great informal way to get acquainted and an entertaining and informative morning to boot! The afternoon included some of the highlights of the British Library and British Museum. The second morning was her Classic London tour that included a front row seat to the changing of the guard ceremony. The afternoon included an awesome highlights tour of the National Gallery where Jenny took it to another level! We are already looking forward to a return visit to London and Jenny
You can't miss a tour with Jane!

I took the "Secrets of Covent Garden" tour and had such an amazing time! It ended up a private tour, so I was alone with Jane and I could ask all the questions I wanted a share with her my passion about London history. I think one of the bests ways to understad a city so ancient as London is with a guide, and Jane is one of the bests! She was very kind and generous, taking me inside the Royal Opera House, as we were only both of us. I love when a tour guide is passionate about the city and Jane delivers her tour in a way that you feel inside a movie where you're the star. I followed Jane in her internet platforms and wanted to take a tour with her, she didn't dissapoint When I go back to London, for sure I'll take another tour with her.
Absolute perfection incarnate in a guide

I just spent the last three days with Jenny as she took my family around Smithfield, the Wallace Collection, Covent Gardens, and Southwick. She was an absolute superstar the entire time, chock full of knowledge and able to answer just about any question we had.

Our hotel wasn't especially centrally located, but each morning she took the extra 30 minutes on the tube to pick us up for our daily itinerary, which included choosing some delightful restaurants for lunch and adapting some of her off-the-shelf tours (A brief history of London, Covent Garden, Gruesome Tales, Walking in Shakespeare's Footsteps) for our particular interests (such as a walk through the history of medieval warfare at the Wallace Collection).

I absolutely can't praise her enough - we're about to head out of London on an 8-day bus tour by one of the big companies and I'm getting myself to be let down after these last three great days.

Thanks for everything, Jenny! We wish you the best!
