A private and bespoke trip from London to Cornwall (Return)
Doc Martin and Poldark are filmed on the beautiful north Cornwall coast. It can be difficult to get there if you don't have a vehicle, so let me do all the work for you. A fully personal and private tour at your pace.
You will be picked up direct from your Hotel or accommodation in a comfortable private vehicle by me, (Richard) I'm a huge fan of the shows and passionate about Cornwall.
Day one will focus on all things Doc Martin and the gorgeous village of Port Isaac which becomes Port Wenn in the show. See all the main locations including The School, The Pub, Mrs Tishell's Pharmacy and of course the Doc's Cottage and Surgery.
Day two it's all about the moody and atmospheric world of Ross Poldark from the hit BBC series Poldark.
The perfect short trip from London to the stunning landscapes of Cornwall.

I absolutely savored every moment of this tour and would highly recommend it, as you will be engulfed in a world away from the hustle and bustle of urban life to enjoy life's simplicity, cordial interactions which a city dweller like me has been missing and the majesties of nature.
Richard was fabulous in explaining and pointing out all the details each step of the way and although we traveled during winter and encountered rain, winds and fog - every location afforded its own uniqueness which added to the dramatization and value of its connections or history attached.
The beautiful village of Port Isaac and surrounding locations allowed you to soak up Doc Martins' quaint world. A walk around the village and most especially the Doc's surgery and Cottage for memorable photos, a hike up the hill along nearby cliffs is a must as you will definitely love the view.
Visiting magical Tintagel was breathtaking and upon Richard's recommendation, I stayed at the Old School and Restaurant Hotel. In one word - Fabulous!. I loved my stay there and wished it was longer!. Visiting the Golden Lion pub will allow you to enjoy a great fulfilling meal, some local company and of course, take lots of photos as you explore the village.
We visited Poldark country the next day and I was really reluctant to leave the locations we ventured in. It was absolutely stunning to visit Holywell Bay, Wheal Coates and Charlestown. You will come to marvel at the power of nature and the lives lived in Poldark's world. To cap the day before returning to London, we travelled to the infamous Jamaica Inn in Bodmin moor. I would highly encourage this visit as I tried my first Cornish pasty here and loved it, soaked up the interiors of the smugglers inn and was introduced to the world of Daphne du Maurier's 1936 novel. This tour was the best experience ever! Thanks for the introduction to Cornwall Richard. Absolutely a fan here!
