Overview

There are lots of wonderful walks around London – from high on Hampstead Heath to navigating East London’s canal ways, we as Londoners really are spoil for choice. That said, the stroll that we keep coming back to time and time again is the South Bank to Southwark walk along the Thames, starting at London Bridge and walking all the way to Westminster Bridge (approx 2.5 miles / 4km in total). During this tour you will see the most famous landmarks of central London such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and more. London eye, Waterloo and London Bridge. And magnificent Tower Bridge. We pass by HMS Belfast and Borough market, Southwark cathedral and many more.

London Bridge
Several bridges named London Bridge have spanned the River Thames between the City of London and Southwark, in central London. The current crossing, which opened to traffic in 1973, is a box girder bridge built from concrete and steel. It replaced a 19th-century stone-arched bridge, which in turn superseded a 600-year-old stone-built medieval structure.
